WHAT IS COLOUR?
This module introduces you to the nature of light and colour, how we perceive colour and the dimensions of colour.
TRANSFORMATION OUTCOME
We are going to be having a fun hands on experience, as we dive into a painting activity to explore what you have learnt in the lessons of module 1.
THE COLOUR WHEEL
This module is all about The Colour Wheel and Tone. We will be exploring these by painting and assembling our own version.
TRANSFORMATION OUTCOME
By the end of this module, you will have a great understanding of the colour wheel and the colour relationships, transforming the way you view colour and its scientific connection.
THE GREYSCALE
This lesson is all about tone/value and its relationship to the colour wheel. You will learn some new colour terms about tone and colour.

By the end of this module, you should be able to identify the natural tonal level of a colour and understand how tone impacts colour.
COLOUR SCHEMES I + II
This module is focused on colour schemes. How to evoke a mood for an interior or exterior space, or any other variety of applications that require colour decisions.
TRANSFORMATION OUTCOME
By the end of this module, you will be using your colour wheel tool to identify different colour schemes. Learn what colour combinations work and why.
ELEMENTS + PRINCIPLES
OF DESIGN - OVER TWO MODULES
This module looks at the elements (think ingredients) and principles (think recipe) of design. And just like baking a cake, understanding these guidelines will assist you in getting a great result when placing colour and other elements into a space, design and colour scheme.
TRANSFORMATION OUTCOME
We go through each and apply it in your
Colour Journal to highlight how effectively these can be used and manipulated to create the desired outcome.
MANIPULATION OF SPACE WITH COLOUR
In this module we explore the way colour can change a space. How it can trick the eye into perceiving space in a certain way, creating focal points, how to hide part of a space and more.
